During Milan Design Week C.P. Company hosted in its store in Via Manzoni 16/A the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the Fontana lamp - also known by the name “1853” - an icon and symbol of design Made in Italy by FontanaArte. Designed by Max Ingrand, the famous master glassmaker, French decorator and artistic director of the company at that time, the lamp was produced in 1954 by FontanaArte. Today, it is considered as the table lamp par excellence. For this special occasion, FontanaArte produced an unprecedented Total Black version of the Fontana lamp, all in blown glass. In turn, CP Company used the innovative nylon fabric ULM (Ultralight Membrane) and garment-dyed cotton to create a jacket that celebrates the Fontana lamp by Max Ingrand. Enzo Fusco and the two designers of the fashion brand, Alexander Pungetti and Paul Harvey, have decided to mould their Goggle Jacket in a fabric that recreates the sheerness and effect of glass, the material used for the Fontana lamp. A white version and a black one of the Goggle jacket were merged together to mark the homage and to communicate with the concept of black and white underlined by Fontana Total Black.
